The Commonwealth Games table tennis semi-finals included this incredible rally.

Gao Ning of Singapore(red top) played Segun Toriola of Nigeria(lime green top) during the team table tennis competition and it was a case of an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object.

Ning attacked with ferocity but faced a brick wall of defence from the African player who was pushed and further back from the table but still kept returning the ball. .

Toriola took the point, eventually, but Ning went on to win the game and Singapore then beat England to take gold in the final.
