Xabi Alonso’s first goal for Bayern Munich was a beauty

Xabi Alonso and his team-mates left the Bremen defence baffled with the cheeky but perfectly executed free-kick at the weekend.

First David Alaba and then Thomas Mueller feigned taking shots, totally confusing the Bremen defensive wall.

This gave Alonso a chance to see which players in the wall jumped and he then calmly stroked his shot along the ground and into the back of the net for his first Bundesliga goal.

The Bremen ‘keeper was furious, but Bayern fans were grinning in admiration at their players' cheeky move.
