After easing past Haider-Maurer 6-4 6-1 6-2, Djokovic’s post-match interview was interrupted as one fan beckoned him to show some moves while the music blared out around the stadium.
The nine-time grand slam champion seemed happy to oblige as the pair performed a short jig, which ended with Djokovic high-fiving his partner and putting on an ’I love New York’ t-shirt.
Djokovic’s rhythm with the racket had been just as impressive as he took a brisk 91 minutes to see off Haider-Maurer, who was unable to muster a single break point.
The number one seed will now play Italian Andreas Seppi in round three.
