Conor McGregor had no qualms about correcting UFC boss Dana White when he mixed up the UK and Ireland on US television.
The two were promoting McGregor’s upcoming fight with Jose Aldo, who was also on the show.
White was discussing TV coverage of the fight and said it would be watched live in Brazil - Aldo’s birthplace - and also in the UK.
White pointed at McGregor as he said the UK, but the Dublin fighter quickly corrected him.
“Ireland will be watching,” McGregor told the UFC president, raising a hand to interrupt him.
“Ireland, Ireland. I thought that was the same thing, apparently not.” White laughed.
McGregor retorted: “It is most certainly not.”
You tell ‘em, Conor.
Dana White has retorted that Ireland needs to "calm down", as he was just "f***ing with Conor".
@MMAEcho calm down Ireland. I'm very aware I was fucking with Connor.
