WATCH: Aussie Rules player kicks own leg so hard he breaks it

This is stomach-churning.

An AFL game between the Western Bulldogs and St Kilda had to be stopped at the weekend after a player suffered a freak leg break.

Bulldogs’ midfielder Mitch Wallis was about to kick the ball when was tackled by Shane Savage.

The challenge unbalanced Wallis and instead of connecting with the ball the player kicked his own leg - and broke it.

The moment of impact could be clearly seen and spectators sympathised as the player was left in agony.
