The BBC were forced to pull this rugby promo because of complaints

BBC Wales found itself in hot water this week when complaints were made about a promo for the Six Nations encounter between England and Wales at the weekend.

Judge for yourself if it is offensive.

The channel pulled the ad following complaints. Richard Thomas, BBC Wales' head of digital and marketing, said: "No offence was intended.

"It was meant to be tongue in cheek but clearly didn't hit the right note."

To be fair, it appears the complaints were not just from England fans, it annoyed some Welsh supporters too.

But plenty of other people thought it was a fairly harmless ad and couldn’t understand the furore.
