Taylor 'would love' to stay amateur

Katie Taylor says she plans to continue as an amateur boxer, setting her eyes on the Rio Olympics in 2016.
The London gold medal hero has revealed that she has been handed several lucrative offers to turn professional but is now on the verge of committing to a new deal to continue fighting as an amateur.
Taylor has revealed that her father and coach, Pete, has been holding talks with the Irish Sports Council and she expects a decision within the next few days.
"I would absolutely love to stay amateur and go for a second gold in Rio. You can't beat representing for your country.
"It's a huge challenge to defend my European and World titles every year as well.
"I'd love to stay amateur if I had the opportunity. My dad has been in talks with the sports council in the last couple of weeks and hopefully we will get to sign a contract soon."
