Seamus Coleman to return to Premier League action this week
Seamus Coleman is set to make his Premier League return later this week.
Everton manager Sam Allardyce has confirmed the Republic of Ireland captain will be in his squad for Wednesday’s match against Leicester City at Goodison Park.
The 29-year-old has been out of action since suffering a double leg break in Ireland’s World Cup qualifier against Wales at the Aviva Stadium in March.
Speaking about Coleman in a press conference ahead of their match against Leicester City on Wednesday Sam Allardyce said he had been "training with us regularly and in the squad for Wednesday now."
"Hopefully from here on in he can have an injury-free run until the end of the season.
"He’s a very important player as we all know."

Allardyce added that Coleman will need time to return to top form following such an extended period of time.
"He can’t be expected to be at his top form immediately but very important to have him back - his influence not just as a player but as a person and a human being."
The Everton manager also provided an update on James McCarthy who underwent an operation on a double leg fracture.
"It went well. He’s recuperating...there’s not an awful lot we can do with him yet.
"We’ll bring him back and pick the right rehab for him whether that may be away from the football club...somewhere in Europe might be an opportunity for us to consider."
