Pitch invader attacks Ribéry with a scarf

Franck Ribéry was slapped with a scarf and abused by an idiotic pitch invader during last night’s cup match between Bayern FC and Hamburg SV.

Hamburg apologised to the player afterwards for the behaviour of the spectator, presumably a fan of the home side.

He ran onto the the pitch during injury time at the end of the match, striking the winger in the face with his scarf before taunting him with obscene hand gestures.

The pitch invader was caught and dragged away by stewards, but should probably count himself lucky the officials got to him before the player did.
