Pádraig Harrington moves within a shot of the lead in Portugal

Pádraig Harrington has moved to within a shot of the lead at the Portugal Masters.

The three-time Major winner carded one of the rounds of the day - an eight-under par 63 - that has seen him move to 13-under in Vilamoura.

Scotland's Marc Warren and England's Andy Sullivan share the lead on 14-under par.

Harrington has admitted that he'll have to continue holing putts if he's to win on Sunday.

“I certainly enjoy when everybody else is struggling in tough weather, so that would be nice,” said Harrington.

“But I think the tee-times are moved back tomorrow so it should be another nice weekend.

“I expect somebody is going to go low over the weekend and get it into the 20s (under par), so I’m going to have to follow or else lead.”

Harrington is aiming to win on the European Tour for the first time since 2008 - the year he claimed two of his three majors.
