Sweden’s Christian Nilsson held a seven-shot lead at the midway point of the final round as he closed in on the Saint-Omer Open title.
Last year’s runner-up was one under par through nine holes in northern France for an overall score of 12 under to sit well clear of Portugal’s Jose-Filipe Lima and Englishman James Morrison.
Morrison has endured a disappointing fourth round so far, his two over par taking him back to five under for the tournament.
Lima is one under today, with seven players two shots further back on three under.
Two of those are Englishman Richard McEvoy and Welshman Sion Bebb, who were four under and one over for the day through 16 and nine holes respectively.
Spaniard Javier Colombo has enjoyed the best round of the day so far, going round in five under to also lie three under overall.
