Mourinho fails to stay cool for ice-bucket challenge

The ice bucket challenge has made the jump from players to managers, and a number of coaches, including Sam Allardyce, have faced the icy deluge.

But José Mourinho, being the Special One, wanted to do it with a little more panache.

He began by graciously acknowledged those who had nominated him:

“I want to thank my friends Didier Drogba and Lebo Mohuba for the invitation.”

The Chelsea boss then namechecked the ALS charity the challenge was in aid of and made his own nominations.

Of course he is way too cool to nominate other footballers, instead choosing his daughter, Canadian singer Bryan Adams and Scottish actor James McAvoy.

Mourinho maintained his aura of dignity, right up to the second the water hit him.

Don’t feel bad José, the challenge makes screaming ninnies of us all.
