Leinster fan looking for a rugby romance

One Leinster fan felt her heart beat faster last weekend, and not just because of their narrow victory over Harlequins.

A woman seated in the Lower Stand at the Aviva Stadium last weekend is trying to get back in touch with a fellow supporter she spoke to at the game.

Signing herself Leinster_Gal23, she logged into the Leinster fan site Babbling Brook and said she had spoken to a “nice, attractive guy” sitting beside her at the game.

But as she was there with other people they only exchanged a few words and she left without finding out any more about him.

In a move to bring out the Christmas rom-com lover in us all, she wrote the post in the hope that he would read it and get back in touch.

“I thought I'd put it out there and see if he wanted to get in touch (only if he is single of course),” she wrote.

“I was sitting in lower stand, Block 101, Row H. Think my seat was 28 or something... Anyway, nothing ventured, nothing gained.”

So far no-one has contacted her to say they were the man she spoke too, although other forum members are delighted with the story and rooting for her.

So come on rugby fan, get in touch and give us all a lovely romantic story for the festive season.
