Here is where you can watch the Ryder Cup

For golf fans the time has arrived. Cancel all engagements, lock the doors and draw the blinds, it's Ryder Cup time.

If ever there was a sporting event to create a Homer Simpson-like affinity with a sofa it is the biennial dust-up between Europe and the United States and with this year's renewal taking place at Hazeltine National in Minnesota, there is also a six-hour time difference to contend with.

As we have become accustomed for more than a decade now, Sky Sports is the only way to watch every shot of the Ryder Cup being played tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday and the satellite broadcaster is transforming Sky Sports 4 into Sky Sports Ryder Cup for the duration as Europe bids for a fourth consecutive victory and prevent the USA from a first win since 2008 at Valhalla.

Sky is promising to throw the kitchen sink at this one to satisfy even the most obsessive of armchair viewers, starting with live coverage of today's Opening Ceremony.

Each morning, Robert Lee will present extended highlights and analysis from the previous day's play in 'Ryder Cup Breakfast' before a daily preview show.

Live coverage starts at 12:30pm, an hour before the first tee times on Friday and Saturday with a barrage of analysts and presenters including former European Ryder Cup captains Paul McGinley, Colin Montgomerie and Tony Jacklin as well as Butch Harmon, Nick Dougherty and Rich Beem.

And for those without a Skys Sports subscription, BBC Sport has daily TV highlights each night on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
