It may still be August but it is hard to imagine a worse miss this season than this howler from Wolfsburg’s Junior Malanda.
His side faced Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich away in a very tough opening fixture.
Bayern were leading 2-1 with a little over ten minutes to play when Malanda was presented with the perfect opportunity to equalise.
Instead he did this.
Even Fernando Torres would have put that one away.
