Arsenal have doubts over several players for Saturday’s Premier League trip to West Brom, including England forward Danny Welbeck, who has a swollen knee and a hamstring problem.

Goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny (hip) and striker Yaya Sanogo (hamstring) will be assessed, but forward Olivier Giroud could come back in having been ineligible for the midweek Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund, along with fit-again defender Laurent Koscielny.

Captain Mikel Arteta (calf) if defintely out, as is Jack Wilshere, set for three months of recovery after ankle surgery, and Theo Walcott (groin). Mesut Ozil (knee), Mathieu Debuchy (ankle), goalkeeper David Ospina (thigh) and Abou Diaby (calf) are all still unavailable.
