Jeff Hendrick's winning goal for Burnley against Everton has been on everyone's lips since the ball hit the net for all the right reasons,
.The goal, set up by fellow Irishman Stephen Ward, was a genuine goal of the season contender with some comparing it to the type of goal you'd see Barcelona score.

In case you were wondering, that's 24 passes in the build-up to the goal that delivered the 1-0 win. A nice way to score your first league goal of the season!
It also broke a record for the Clarets with the goal featuring the most passes in the build-up of any Burnley goal in Premier League history.

Goal
The good news for Irish fans is that the goal involved three of Burnley's Irish contingent, with Robbie Brady also being involved in the build-up.
People have been heaping praise on Hendrick and Burnley since the goal went in.
Won't get bored of watching that Hendrick goal back 😍

Just a hint(!) of Irish in our goal...amazing pass from Brady, excellent ball from Ward and clever finish from Hendrick. Top drawer.

Watching @BBCMOTD 2 this morning. Lovely interplay between Brady, Ward and Hendrick for the goal. Have some of that next week #MOTD #COYBIG

Here's hoping Hendrick, Ward and Brady can recreate some of this form with Ireland against Moldova and Wales.
