The Donegal and Tyrone county boards have been fined €5000 each for the brawl between their two sides earlier this month.
The spat occurred during the Ulster SFC preliminary round meeting between the two sides in Ballybofey on May 17.
A row broke out between the two sets of players as they left the field at half-time.
Both county boards have the option of appealing the punishments.
Tyrone’s assistant manager Gavin Devlin faces further punishment for his part in the incident - he has been slapped with an eight week ban.
If Devlin chooses not to appeal the proposed ban he will miss Tyrone’s first game of the All-Ireland qualifying series, schedules for June 27.
No individual players have been sanctioned.
