O'Gara to receive Player of the Year award
01/11/2005 - 16:17:09Ireland out-half Ronan O'Gara has been announced as the Guinness Rugby Writers of Ireland Player of the Year.
He will receive the award this evening at a banquet in The City West Hotel, where the Ireland squad is staying in preparation for the upcoming November internationals.
Shannon is Club of the Year. Fr Michael Sheil will be given the Tom Rooney Memorial Award for exceptional contribution to Irish rugby.
