Novo cleared to play Old Firm match
19/11/2004 - 10:53:31Rangers striker Nacho Novo has been cleared to play against Celtic tomorrow after the Scottish Football Association upheld the club’s appeal against his red card last week.
The Spaniard was set to miss the Old Firm derby at Ibrox after being dismissed in the 1-0 win at Hibernian last Sunday.
But the SFA today reduced that red card to a caution with three penalty points following an appeal by Rangers.
