Meath star Sheridan hit with eight week ban
13/05/2004 - 14:42:06Meath forward Joe Sheridan has been hit with an eight week ban that will rule him out of Sunday week's Leinster clash with Wicklow.
The underage age who has become a big part of boss Sean Boylan's plans was reported for verbally abusing a referee after Meath's under-21 Leinster semi-final loss to Kildare last month.
The ban will see him miss the Wicklow game but the UCD student will be eligible to return for a possible semi-final date with Leinster champions Laois on June 20.
