McFadden back for Everton
Everton will have James McFadden back from a two-match suspension for their trip to Charlton.
Boss David Moyes can also call upon Welsh international Simon Davies, who has recovered from a thigh injury that kept him out of last weekend’s home win over Bolton.
But Everton are still without long-term injury victims Tim Cahill, Tony Hibbert, Alessandro Pistone and Gary Naysmith.
It could mean Moyes having to either use Joseph Yobo as a right-back again, or move Phil Neville to that position and restore Davies to midfield.
But he will have the choice of McFadden, along with James Beattie, to partner Andrew Johnson up front.
Provisional squad: Howard, Neville, Stubbs, Lescott, Weir, Valente, Arteta, Carsley, Davies, Osman, Johnson, McFadden, Beattie, Van der Meyde, Wright, Vaughan, Anichebe, Hughes.
