Loovens faces Dundee United for Bhoys

Glenn Loovens passed a late fitness test on a groin complaint to take his place in the Celtic defence for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League clash with Dundee United at Tannadice.

Striker Scott McDonald and midfielder Marc Crosas came in for Georgios Samaras and Paddy McCourt from the side that drew 3-3 at Falkirk in their last outing.

United defender Garry Kenneth was ruled out with a groin complaint, his place taken by Darren Dods who skippered the Tannadice side.

Striker Danny Cadamarteri replaced David Goodwillie who started on the bench.

Dundee Utd: Weaver, Kovacevic, Webster, Dods, Dixon, Myrie-Williams, Buaben, Gomis, Conway, Cadamarteri, Casalinuovo.
Subs: Banks, Dillon, Daly, David Robertson, Swanson, Shala, Goodwillie.
