Leinster's Dillon loaned to Ospreys
20/12/2005 - 21:08:25Leinster utility forward Des Dillon has joined the Neath-Swansea Ospreys on a short-term loan.
Dillon has been largely sidelined due to the excellent form of Jamie Heaslip at number eight and the progress of Adam Byrnes and Bryce Williams in the second row.
“We have signed Des Dillon on a short term loan due to the injuries we have had in the back row to Ryan Jones and Andy Lloyd,” said Ospreys Manager Derwyn Jones.
“I am sure Des will prove an invaluable member of the squad and he is available for selection against the Blues on Thursday.
“He will bring an added physical presence to our back row during a period where the local derbies will test our squad to the full.”
