Latics could call on Connolly
17/03/2006 - 09:03:29David Connolly could come into contention for a place in the Wigan squad to face Manchester City after scoring on his comeback from a hamstring injury in midweek.
The striker last made a first-team appearance in January in the Carling Cup semi-final first leg victory over Arsenal.
David Thompson (knee) and Damien Francis (foot) are both being troubled by injury but are expected to be available for the City match.
Provisional squad: Filan, Chimbonda, De Zeeuw, Scharner, Baines, Teale, Bullard, Kavanagh, McCulloch, Roberts, Camara, Connolly, Thompson, Ziegler, Johansson, Walsh, Jackson, Mahon, Francis.
