Keenan joins Willem II
01/02/2006 - 09:56:56Chelsea midfielder Joe Keenan has moved on loan to Willem II for the rest of the season.
The 23-year-old did well during a recent trial at Willem II and the Tilburg club came to an agreement with the Premiership champions just before the January transfer window ended.
“We were looking for reinforcements for our left flank. Keenan can fill that role perfectly. He made a good impression during the trial and we acted swiftly to tie him to us before the closure of the transfer window,” Willem II’s technical manager and coach Kees Zwamborn told the club website.
