Kalou set for Chelsea move
27/05/2006 - 12:16:41Feyenoord striker Salomon Kalou is set to sign for Chelsea after travelling to London for talks with the English champions on Friday.
The 20-year-old was given permission by his club to travel to London after Chelsea made Feyenoord an initial offer for him on Thursday.
Earlier this month, the Ivory Coast-born striker, who recently failed in a bid to earn Dutch citizenship, spoke with the Blues manager Jose Mourinho and owner Roman Abramovich.
The two clubs are expected to reach an agreement on a transfer fee over the weekend, with Kalou set to sign a four or five-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
