Huntington call morning check

Officials at Huntingdon have called a precautionary inspection at 7.30am ahead of tomorrow afternoon’s seven-race card.

Racing at the Cambridgeshire track is due to get underway at 1.40pm but overnight frost is forecast.

Clerk of the course Fiona Needham said: “We are fine at the moment but are forecast to get down to minus two overnight so I thought it advisable to call a precautionary inspection.

“It will be our first night of frost for a while and I think we should be fine.”
