Gyan leaves Black Cats

Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan has completed a permanent move to United Arab Emirates side Al-Ain.

The 26-year-old Ghana international, who spent most of last season on loan at the club, has sealed a transfer on undisclosed terms as expected.

It is understood Al-Ain paid the Black Cats around £6million for Gyan’s temporary stay and will hand over a similar fee to secure his services on a long-term basis.
