Green light for 'tropical' Doncaster
24/02/2010 - 08:32:24Doncaster's meeting this afternoon goes ahead as scheduled after a planned inspection was cancelled.
Clerk of the course David Williams said: "We were forecast heavy snow for last night but it didn't materialise.
"We had a bit of sleet but the temperature was plus 2C and above all night. It's quite tropical walking it this morning!
"It's good to soft, soft in places but will probably ride easier than that. We are forecast a bit of drizzle and maybe the odd rain shower this afternoon."
