Tiger Woods is working hard to recover the form that saw him dominate the world of golf for years, but still found the time to write this heartfelt letter to a struggling teenage fan.
The teenager, called Dillon, has a severe stutter and is being bullied at school and feels isolated as a result.
He is being mentored by a former pro-golfer Sophie Gustafson, but things became so bad that he recently attempted suicide, breaking his leg.
He is a huge fan of golf and Tiger Woods in particular, so Dillon’s mother contacted Golf.com, told them her son’s story and asked for help.
“He continues to love to watch golf and is still a fan of Tiger,” she explained.
“Is there anyway we could get his story to Tiger and see if he could help find something encouraging for (him) to look forward to?”
Thanks so much @TigerWoods for sending my friend Dillon a letter. He got so happy! It's being framed and hanged. #class

The website got word to Tiger and on Sunday Gustafson took to Twitter to thank the former World No1 for writing to Dillon.
Here’s what Tiger wrote:
Golf.com report that Tiger’s wonderful letter of support had a huge effect on Dillon.
Dillon said: "On Saturday, I got a letter from Tiger! He told me that he used to stutter too. We are going to frame the letter. We have never seen a golf tournament in person, only on TV. I told my mom that when my leg gets better, I think that would be a fun thing to do.
"I hope that maybe one other person out there that is also having struggles, will hear my story and realize suicide is not the answer and maybe it can help them.
"I just acted on impulse and now wish that I hadn't. I was just tired of feeling small and like I didn't matter. I know that I do matter with the help of my family and friends like you to support me.”
Well done Tiger, wonderful to see someone so famous take the time to support a fan in need.
