English golfer Andy Sullivan won a once-in-a-lifetime prize at the KLM Open in the Netherlands at the weekend.
Sullivan got a hole-in-one at the 15th hole on the final day of the tournament.
His unusual prize was a trip into space and he was presented with his trophy by an astronaut dressed in a full spacesuit.
The golfer has admitted since that he may not have been the best person to win the prize.
“I’m not sure if I’ll go, I’ll check with the missus,” he said The Guardian. “I’m not great with heights or flying!”
Sullivan is so poor in heights that he had to be treated for altitude sickness last week when playing a tournament in the Swiss mountains.
However he also feels the opportunity is too good to pass up.
“I might have to pluck up some serious courage, but it is a once in a lifetime experience, so I’m going to have to do it.”
Big thanks to all sponsors @PINGTourEurope @TitleistEurope @Luke_Sport @dggolfdubai @TrionZ might not see you again lol #spaceman
