Giant-killers Northampton will bid to knock a second Premier League side out of the EFL Cup after they drew Manchester United in the third round.

The Cobblers came from behind to beat West Brom 4-3 on penalties to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to 26 games.

Their last defeat was against MK Dons in the FA Cup fourth round in January and they will now look to continue their form when they play host to Jose Mourinho's side at Sixfields.

League Two's Accrington booked their place in the third round for the first time in their history after defeating local rivals and Premier League opponents Burnley 1-0 in the dying seconds of extra-time.

They were rewarded with an away fixture against West Ham after Matty Pearson scored with 14 seconds left on the clock on a historic night for the Lancashire club.

Premier League champions Leicester will face Chelsea at the King Power Stadium in one of four all top-flight clashes.

Southampton will face Crystal Palace while Swansea will play holders Manchester City and unbeaten Hull will take the trip to Stoke.

Gillingham, who came from behind to shock Watford in extra-time to reach the third round, have earned themselves a meeting with yet another Premier League club as they will take on Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

Championship side Nottingham Forest will host top-flight opposition after being drawn at home against Arsenal while Leeds were handed a home fixture and will face fellow Championship side Blackburn.

QPR were drawn against Premier League opponents Sunderland while Everton will face Norwich and Derby have been drawn at home to Liverpool.

Newcastle and Wolves will meet in an all-Championship clash while Premier League side Bournemouth host Preston, Brighton take on Reading and Fulham have secured a home draw against Bristol City.

The third round ties will be played on the week commencing September 19.
