Game Gaelic heads to Ascot


Scots Gaelic has earned a trip to Royal Ascot following his victory at Fairyhouse on Wednesday night.

Pat Flynn’s versatile performer had been running over hurdles through the winter, but has thrived back on the level and carried top weight to victory in the Fairyhouse Summer Series Handicap.

“He won over a mile and a half at Fairyhouse and we’re going to go for the Ascot Stakes over two and a half miles,” said Flynn.
