TWEETS: Furious fan reaction as public tickets for Dublin-Mayo replay sell out

Dublin and Mayo will meet again on Saturday evening in Croke Park to decide who goes on to face Kerry in the All-Ireland SFC final, but a lot of fans who hoped to be there watching have failed to get tickets.

The GAA confirmed earlier today that all public sale tickets were sold out, with the first batch going online last night and a second tranche at 11am.

Many fans responded angrily to the announcement, saying they had been unable to access the website to buy tickets.

Others complained that some people were allowed purchase tens of tickets.

Expect a week of fans scrambling for tickets, with the GAA confirming that the only way to get them now is from clubs in Mayo and Dublin.

A statement from the GAA said: “The GAA can confirm that there will be no more public sales of tickets for Saturday's GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Championship Semi-Final replay between Dublin and Mayo with the remaining tickets available through the competing counties”.
