Kerry Gaelic footballer Colm Cooper had a race named after him at the Killarney Races July Festival yesterday.
Videographer Denis Minihane went along to the races to catch up with the Kerry All Star and soak up the sun and atmosphere at Killarney Racecourse.
Cooper was “delighted” to have had a race named in his honour on the evening.
“It's a great honour to have a race named after us to celebrate the Dr Crokes All-Ireland Club Champions,” he said.

Mr Cooper enjoyed a “special night” at the racecourse with family and friends.
The racecourse’s backdrop of Killarney National Park, Muckross Lake and the Macgillycuddy's Reeks made for stunning scenery in the sunshine on the evening.
“What a place to be on a Monday night,” Cooper said.
