New sponsors for Kildare GAA

The Brady Family have been announced as the new sponsors of Kildare GAA football and hurling teams at all grades.

The sponsorship was revealed tonight at the Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge, and will be for a three-year term with an option to renew.

The company from Timahoe, County Kildare was founded in 1978 and is a leading producer of quality cooked meats.

The 'Brady Family Ham' logo will be carried on the new Kildare GAA jersey. The Lilywhites' Ladies football and camogie sides will also benefit from the sponsorship.

Kildare GAA Chairman John McMahon spoke of his satisfaction of having a local company on board. "Brady Family Ham is a local family business and we are delighted to be associated with this company," he said

"I feel it is the perfect match. Like the GAA, they are firmly linked to family values and also have strong community links.

"We are also emerging brands and we share the common goals to be numbers ones in our respective fields."

McMahon also paid tribute to outgoing sponsors Tegral who sponsored Kildare GAA teams for the past 19 years.

"Tegral had a long industrious and illustrious involvement with Kildare and I hope that Brady's involvement also offers a long tenure and worth," he added.

The Brady Family are one of a number of new sponsors of GAA county teams for 2013, following on from the recent announcements of Tayto Park's sponsorship of Meath and Tyrone's link-up with new sponsors Hunky Dorys.
