Chris Barrett and Jason Doherty have been drafted into the Mayo team for tomorrow's Allianz League Division 1 semi-final against Dublin at Croke Park (throw-in 3.45pm).
Shane McHale and Alan Freeman both make way as Barrett comes in at left corner back and Burrishoole's Doherty, the county's top scorer in the league with 0-24, returns at full-forward.
Barry Moran and Alan Dillon remain on the injury list for the Connacht champions, but Keith Higgins (hamstring) has been included on the bench for the rematch with the Dubs.
Mayo defeated reigning All-Ireland champions Donegal and last year's league winners Cork in recent weeks to qualify for the semi-final stage.
They are bidding to reach the league decider for the third time in four seasons, having lost to Cork in 2010 and again last year.
As well as chasing league silverware, manager James Horan is pleased that his charges have the opportunity to play more competitive matches before the Championship gets underway.
"There's nothing like quality, competitive games against good teams so it's a big benefit for us (to get through to the league semi-finals)," Horan told the Mayo News.
"We didn't play well in a lot of games this year so the more games we can get against good opposition, the better.
"We have a very competitive panel. We have some quality players to come back in but we're in a league semi-final having missed quite a few of our key players.
"We've been missing them for the whole campaign but we didn't cry about it, we just got on with it."
