Gardaí tweet consequences of illegal parking at Páirc Uí Chaoimh
Gardaí have been warning the public about parking restrictions this week ahead of the Munster quarter-final at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
Unfortunately, one match goer clearly didn't get the memo.
Garda traffic tweeted: "Cork - Car being towed away at Páirc Uí Chaoimh at today's hurling quarter-final. Park legally please."

Lower Glanmire road is empty and is the
fastest way to match venue as of now.
Traffic going through the Jack Lynch Tunnel, around Mahon and the Dunkettle Interchange is running freely.
Traffic is said to be moving well on the Lower Glanmire Road, while it is busy but still moving on the Dublin Road.
Skehard Road is very quiet while it is estimated it will take traffic around 45 minutes to get from Cashel to the Jack Lynch tunnel.
Urgent: Gardaí have asked match goers to use the Lower Glanmire road if you are approaching from Dublin as there are major delays.
There are still 500 parking spaces available at Cork Constitution which is a few minutes walk from Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
There are around 8km of delays on the M8 Dublin Rd southbound heading towards the Dunkettle Interchange.
It is very busy on the Lower Glanmire road through to Brian Boru Bridge and onto Anderson's Quay.
Southbound traffic is busy on the N20 Limerick/Cork Rd through Charleville and again through Mallow.

There are an estimated 2km's of westbound delays on the N25 Waterford/Cork road between Killeagh and Castlemartyr.
There is a stop/go system in place for works at Killeagh adding to these delays.
The N22 Killarney/Cork Rd eastbound is slow through Macroom.
The N71 Bandon/Cork Rd is busy northbound in Inishannon.
Traffic at Exit 10 off N40 slip is busy but CSO and Mahon are moving well.
John Horgan Quay and Kennedy Quay are busy but traffic is moving quickly.

Traffic is said to be moving well around the Jack Lunch Tunnel, the Lower Glanmire road and Mahon area.
There is a heavy traffic on the M8 Southbound but is reportedly moving well.
There is also a steady flow of traffic reported on Skehard road, Victoria roundabout and Boreennmanna road are quiet at the moment.
There are still plenty of spaces vacant at Cork Constituiton.

The first major event at the newly revamped Páirc Uí Chaoimh is getting underway this morning.
Anyone traveling to Cork for the Clare v Tipperary match is being warned of heavy traffic and big delays.
Gardaí are urging people to avail of park and ride facilities and not to drive to the stadium.
The Garda website will also be updating traffic as it is evolving.

Traffic Inspector in Cork City, Finbarr O'Sullivan, is asking people to come early and beware of traffic restrictions in the largely residential area around Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
He said: "Well our core message is that there is very little parking around the stadium. We are asking people to walk to the venue, to arrive early.
"There is plenty of parking in the city centre, there is the bones of 4,000 parking spaces in and around the city centre.
"We've got 500 parking spots in Cork camogie club, we've got 800 places in Cork Con and we've got numerous GAA clubs around that side of the city."
