Fuller misses Anfield clash

Stoke will be without suspended striker Ricardo Fuller for Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final clash with Liverpool at Anfield.

The Jamaican serves the first of a three-match ban following his sending-off against Chelsea last weekend for a stamp on Branislav Ivanovic.

Potters boss Tony Pulis has already confirmed Thomas Sorensen will get his chance in goal after losing the number one spot to Asmir Begovic last month while Peter Crouch, rested at Stamford Bridge, will also come in.

Provisional squad: Begovic, Sorensen, Huth, Upson, Collins, Shotton, Shawcross, Wilkinson, Wilson, Woodgate, Whelan, Whitehead, Etherington, Diao, Pennant, Delap, Arismendi, Palacios, Jones, Jerome, Crouch, Walters.
