Fenlon turned down bid for Byrne
24/07/2006 - 10:45:43Shelbourne manager Pat Fenlon has revealed he turned down a bid from an unnamed Danish club for Jason Byrne.
Republic of Ireland international Byrne is being hotly pursued by a number of continental clubs though Shels rejected the bid despite their current financial problems.
Byrne had the option of going to Sweden with Djurgarden during the winter but decided to remain in Dublin.
