Fans buoyed victorious Connacht
Coach Michael Bradley said that Connacht fans played a big role in the 15-10 victory over Ospreys.
"The quality of the Connacht support has always been excellent, what we need is more of them to increase the volume.
"It was superb on Friday night the way the supporters got right behind the side, especially in the second-half when the game was hanging in the balance.
"That backing has to be worth a score or two. Let's hope we can build on the Friday night experience and the fan base will continue to grow in the coming weeks," said Bradley.
The Connacht coach was very pleased with the display against Ospreys, especially the way they reacted to Justine Marshall's breakaway try just before the break.
"That was a sucker-punch. He took it well but from a situation where we looked like going ahead, it was a telling moment. But we spoke about it at half-time and I was very pleased with the way they remained composed in the second-half.
"We had a strong set-piece, the tackling was superb and there was always a great chance once players remained composed. They did and the chances came and were taken," said Bradley.
