If any reader fancies heading across the water for a career change, one of the most high-profile roles in British football is up for grabs.
No, not the England manager position - the chance to become Partick Thistle’s hideous mascot Kingsley.
The Glasgow-based football club has advertised what it describes as “the best job in the world”.

They are looking for someone who is outgoing, responsible, between 5’ 8” and 6’ 2’ tall and has the ability to “convey complex messages while only using your hands”.
It’s not all dancing around in front of the terraces though - this multi-tasking mascot also works as an agony aunt.

Interested applicants are asked to submit a short video outlining why they would suit the role.
“Kingsley is the face of the club and we can’t wait to find the right person to make sure he remains the centre of attention, not only at Partick Thistle but also within Scottish football as a whole,” Partick Thistle managing director, Ian Maxwell, said.
The club will be sharing the video applications on social media over the next few weeks - we’ll be keeping a close eye on developments.
