FAI votes to merge with Eircom League
30/09/2006 - 15:28:52The Eircom League and the Football Association of Ireland have merged.
The unification has been rubber-stamped by the association's extraordinary general meeting in Cahir.
Delegates unanimously voted for all 12 rule changes necessary to complete the merger and the FAI will take over the running of the Eircom League at the end of the 2006 season.
