Dooley takes over as Toomevara manager

Joe Dooley has been confirmed as the new manager of Tipperary hurling giants Toomevara.

Joe Dooley has been confirmed as the new manager of Tipperary hurling giants Toomevara.

The former All-Ireland winner with Offaly will bring a wealth of experience to the position and follows in the footsteps of Pat Joe Whelahan and Limerick's Tom Ryan who also managed at the club.

Dooley was an AllStar in 1998 and won All-Ireland titles as a player in 1985, 1994 and 1998.
