Cucaracha heads Diadem possibles
19/09/2005 - 18:12:10Nunthorpe Stakes winner La Cucaracha heads a competitive field of 19 left in Sunday’s Group Two totepool Diadem Stakes at Newmarket.
Barry Hills’ filly was anything but disgraced when a subsequent runner-up in the Haydock Sprint Cup behind Goodricke and could face a number of those that finished behind her, including the third, Ashdown Express.
Fayr Jag (fifth), Etlaala (sixth) and Patavellian (seventh) are amongst a number of Sprint Cup also-rans still engaged, along with Paul Cole’s progressive Deauville winner Eisteddfod and the consistent and talented Quito.
