Court called up by Lions

Ireland prop Tom Court has been called into the British and Irish Lions squad.

Ulster forward Court, who is currently in his home city Brisbane following Ireland’s North American tour, has been summoned following a calf muscle injury suffered by England loosehead Alex Corbisiero during yesterday’s first Test victory over Australia.

The Lions also confirmed that Test lock Paul O’Connell suffered an arm injury in the 23-21 victory at Suncorp Stadium, but he continues to be “treated and assessed”.
