Cole to stay with Gunners
18/07/2005 - 10:11:21Ashley Cole has agreed a contract extension with Arsenal.
There had been speculation the England full-back might leave Highbury following the recent “tapping-up” scandal involving Chelsea.
However, the 24-year-old, who had two years left on his previous contract, has decided to extend his stay with the club.
Cole said: “I am now looking forward to another successful season. We are all determined to regain the Premiership and title and I can’t wait for the season to start now.”
