Clonmel off
03/11/2005 - 08:25:59This afternoon’s meeting at Clonmel has been abandoned due to waterlogging.
The Irish venue failed a 7.30am inspection following 20mm of overnight rain.
“It is drizzling at the moment and more heavy rain is expected at 12pm,” said Clonmel clerk of the course Lorcan Wyer.
“Parts of the track are unraceable so we were left with no option other than to call the meeting off.”
