Cisse eager to complete Lazio move

Panathinaikos forward Djibril Cisse hopes to complete his permanent transfer to Lazio this week.
The Serie A club have reached an agreement with Pana to sign the France international, but the deal remains on hold with Lazio still having to offload one of their strikers.
“I am fed up with waiting for the negotiations to be completed,” said Cisse to Corriere dello Sport.
“I hope to be in Rome tomorrow to undergo a medical.
“For my transfer to Lazio, I have had to give up part of my holidays.”
The 29-year-old Cisse is excited at the prospect of playing in Italy’s top flight.
“I’m fascinated by the idea of experiencing a new adventure, in a difficult and stimulating league as is the Serie A,” he said. “I am ready for that challenge.
“All I want is to greet the Lazio fans that are waiting for me.
“I know my arrival is creating a lot of enthusiasm and I want to repay that trust.”
The former Liverpool striker is under contract with the Greek outfit until June 2013.
Lazio finished fifth in Serie A and will play in next season’s Europa League.
